Es un proceso por el que tienen que pasar todos los clubes del mundo y por supuesto el <em>Club BMW 2002 Colombia<\/em> no fue la excepci\u00f3n. El Club naci\u00f3 oficialmente en el a\u00f1o 2003, consolidado por un grupo de aficionados al BMW 2002. Una de las primeras reuniones del Club tuvo como objetivo \u00fanico la consolidaci\u00f3n del que ser\u00eda el logo del grupo. En aquel entonces los \u00fanicos medios de divulgaci\u00f3n con los que contaba el Club eran un correo de <em>Hotmail<\/em> y un grupo virtual creado en la extinta plataforma <em>MSN Messenger<\/em>. Cada uno ten\u00eda al menos tres alternativas con diferentes formas y dise\u00f1os: parrillas, logos circulares, logos en rombo, faros traseos, tipograf\u00eda similar a la insignia 2002, entre otros. La creatividad se dej\u00f3 ver aquel d\u00eda, pues ninguno de los que presentaron propuestas era dise\u00f1ador gr\u00e1fico y todo se realiz\u00f3 artesanalmente con programas b\u00e1sicos como <em>Paint<\/em> o <em>Word<\/em>.\u00a0El logo elegido fue uno de los propuestos por el se\u00f1or Fernando Vargas. Se trataba de un emblema circular con el cuadrante blanco y azul de BMW. En su interior tra\u00eda un peque\u00f1o BMW 2002 Alpina y la insignia \u201902. En ese tiempo se ten\u00eda el plan\u00a0de crear un sitio web de internet, entonces un amigo de Fernando, que estudiaba dise\u00f1o gr\u00e1fico, arregl\u00f3 el logo dibuj\u00e1ndolo en Adobe Illustrator. Esta nueva versi\u00f3n correspondi\u00f3 al logo oficial del Club y el punto de partida para el primer <em>merchandising<\/em> del mismo: calcoman\u00edas, gorras, chaquetas y camisetas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el 2008, con el primer quinquenio del Club, Sergio Castillo propuso realizar un redise\u00f1o del logo del Club con motivo del aniversario, conservando sus caracter\u00edsticas fundamentales pero mejor elaborado. El se\u00f1or Sergio Castillo era un socio que en aquel entonces hab\u00eda comprado un BMW 1802 al que bautiz\u00f3 <em>Der Klassiker<\/em>. Fue un socio que se distingui\u00f3 desde que se registr\u00f3 en el foro, pues el avatar que ten\u00eda era una imagen elaborada y muy bien lograda por \u00e9l mismo de un BMW 2002. El resultado del redise\u00f1o del logo no pudo ser mejor: una imagen m\u00e1s profesional y con mejor tipograf\u00eda. La acogida y el buen reconocimiento no se hicieron esperar. Durante los a\u00f1os posteriores fue com\u00fan que muchas personas se acercaran al Club con carrocer\u00edas diferentes a la del 2002. Quer\u00edan participar pero adem\u00e1s quer\u00edan su calcoman\u00eda del Club. Esta llegada de nuevos cl\u00e1sicos, en su mayor\u00eda E21 y E30, motiv\u00f3 a los directivos del Club a reconsiderar la filosof\u00eda de la exclusividad hacia la serie \u201902. Se tom\u00f3 entonces la decisi\u00f3n de darle cabida a los dem\u00e1s BMW cl\u00e1sicos y hacer del Club un espacio m\u00e1s incluyente. El se\u00f1or Sergio Castillo quien\u00a0continuaba con los nexos de amistad con el Club fue quien tuvo nuevamente la tarea de modificar el logo del ahora <em>Club BMW Cl\u00e1sicos Colombia<\/em> en el a\u00f1o 2012.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fue en el a\u00f1o 2013 que el Club cumpli\u00f3 su d\u00e9cimo aniversario. Se lanz\u00f3 entonces un logo de homenaje por esta celebraci\u00f3n. Esta vez fue el se\u00f1or Orlando Nieto el encargado. En las letras tra\u00eda los colores caracter\u00edsticos de la secci\u00f3n motorsport de BMW. En el a\u00f1o 2014, cuando la celebraci\u00f3n ya hab\u00eda terminado, se volvi\u00f3 a utilizar el logo creado previamente.\u00a0La esencia del logo se logr\u00f3 mantener durante 13 a\u00f1os con cambios y reformas que lo estilizaron poco a poco y le dieron al Club el reconocimiento que tiene hoy en d\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lleg\u00f3 entonces el a\u00f1o 2016 con la celebraci\u00f3n de los 100 a\u00f1os de BMW y la propuesta de la junta directiva del\u00a0<em>BMW Auto Club Colombia<\/em>\u00a0(BMW ACC) de oficializar el <em>Club BMW Cl\u00e1sicos Colombia<\/em>. Lo anterior funcionar\u00eda como una estrategia comercial que le convendr\u00eda a ambos clubes. Este acercamiento se hab\u00eda intentado establecer durante a\u00f1os anteriores sin \u00e9xito alguno ya que el Club no quer\u00eda perder su autonom\u00eda bajo ninguna circunstancia. La propuesta del <em>BMW ACC<\/em> era certificar el Club BMW Cl\u00e1sicos Colombia como un sub-club del <em>BMW ACC<\/em>, opci\u00f3n que finalmente fue descartada, cuando la junta directiva del <em>Club BMW Cl\u00e1sicos Colombia<\/em>\u00a0encontr\u00f3 la oportunidad de oficializar el Club a trav\u00e9s de la secci\u00f3n <em>BMW Classic and Type Clubs<\/em> <em>International<\/em>, divisi\u00f3n que agrupa los clubes de carrocer\u00edas por tipo y cl\u00e1sicos. El proceso se inici\u00f3 entonces a finales del a\u00f1o 2016 con una p\u00e1gina web completamente remodelada y un logo completamente modificado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La historia del logo entonces cambi\u00f3 radicalmente ya que el <em>BMW Club International Council<\/em>, organismo que regula y agrupa los diferentes clubes de BMW en el mundo, maneja una identidad corporativa muy clara y definida. El logo se volver\u00eda cuadrado.\u00a0Las medidas deb\u00edan corresponder a aquellas predeterminadas por el concejo internacional de clubes BMW. Sin embargo, se mantuvo el color naranja del carro para denotar que se trata del mismo club. El cuadrante blanco y azul pas\u00f3 a ser una bandera a cuadros para no repetir el logo BMW. Siguiendo las nuevas tendencias de logos las texturas se pasaron a colores planos, tambi\u00e9n por facilidad en aplicaciones.
